The divine dance- Raas Leela that Krishna performed with the Gopis (maidens) symbolizes the divine union and the spiritual love between Krishna and his devotees. This dance is said to have taken place on the first full moon night after the monsoon. The term Raas meaning "aesthetics" and Leela meaning "play" is a concept from Hinduism which roughly translates to play of aesthetics or more broadly as Dance of Divine Love.
